Social Hub
The Social Hub is the "Trust Layer" of OpenTrades. It converts your private execution data into a public, verified record. Generate a shareable profile link, prove your returns without revealing your bankroll, and compete on the global leaderboard.

Your profile badge indicates the integrity of your data to the public.

Broker connection is active. All trades are synced directly from the exchange.
Private
Profile is hidden from the leaderboard. Only you can view your data.
Social Hub: The Complete User Guide
The internet is full of fake gurus. OpenTrades is the antidote. Use the Social Hub to configure your public presence. You control exactly what data is shared—prove your skill (%) while hiding your net worth ($).
1. Public Profile Configuration
To go live, navigate to the Configuration card in the Hub.
Visibility Controls
- Public Visibility: Toggle this switch to ON. This generates your unique URL (e.g.,
opentrades.io/u/yourname) and adds you to the Global Leaderboard. - Public Alias: You can set a display name different from your login username.
- Short Bio: Add a brief description of your strategy (e.g., "Quant / Mean Reversion").
Privacy & Metrics
You can granularly control which financial data is exposed.
- Show Dollar Amount ($): If unchecked, your Net P&L ($) will be hidden, but your Return (%) and Win Rate will remain visible. Use this to prove edge without revealing bankroll size.
- Show Win Rate: This metric is generally required for verified profiles to ensure data integrity.
2. Ghost Mode Configuration
Contribute to the community intelligence while staying anonymous.
Allow Ghost Replay
If enabled, your winning trades will be included in the Weekend Warrior database. Other users can see your entry/exit markers on the chart during replays to learn from your timing.
Ghost Alias
Set a specific alias (e.g., "Maverick") for your Ghost markers. If left blank, your Public Alias is used. This allows you to maintain a separate identity for execution data.
3. The Leaderboard
The Global Leaderboard ranks all verified public profiles based on their Net Profit Percentage.
- Ranking: Traders are ranked by Return % (Total Net Profit / Starting Balance). This levels the playing field between large and small accounts.
- Timeframes: Toggle between Monthly (current calendar month) and All Time performance.
- Your Rank: If your profile is public, your row will be highlighted in green at the top of the list for easy tracking.
4. Sharing Your Card
Once configured, you can share your verified results.
